V2MOM Metric Check

Weekly Dispatch agent that checks each of your V2MOM measures against current data sources and surfaces where you're tracking, slipping, or already off-pace.

Make this yours

When you do this, is there something really important to you?

Optional

Your answer shapes how the prompt is personalised. A few examples of what someone might write:

  • I always want bullet points, never prose.
  • Push back if I'm being vague.
  • Keep updates under 5 lines.
  • Lead with the decision, not the analysis.

Your input is sent to the model once and never stored.

Every Friday at 4:00 PM, do the following:

1. Read my current V2MOM Measures via V2MOM Get MCP.

2. For each Measure, retrieve the latest available data:
   - If the measure is pipeline or revenue-related: use Salesforce MCP
   - If the measure is project or delivery-related: use Jira MCP
   - If the measure is documentation or output-related: check Drive for recent file activity
   - If no data source is connected for a measure: note it explicitly as "No data — manual check required"

3. For each Measure, determine status:
   - 🟢 On track: within 5% of linear progress toward target
   - 🟡 Slipping: 5–15% behind linear progress
   - 🔴 Off-pace: >15% behind or no movement in 2+ weeks

4. Email me the check:
Subject: "V2MOM Check — [Date]"

Format:
**[Measure name]** 🟢/🟡/🔴
Target: [value] | Current: [value] | On-pace target: [value]
[One sentence: what's driving the status]

Setup — 4 steps

1

Connect V2MOM Get MCP.

This is required. Without it, Claude is reading your V2MOM from nowhere. V2MOM Get retrieves your current measures from the OutSystems Leadership MCP.

2

Connect at least one data MCP.

Salesforce (for revenue), Jira (for delivery), or Drive (for output). The check is only as good as the data sources connected. Start with one.

3

Set the Dispatch trigger to Friday at 4pm.

Before your week closes, not after. The goal is to see slipping measures while you can still do something about them.

4

Review the 🔴 items before the weekend.

If a measure is off-pace, don't leave it until Monday. Decide in 5 minutes: is it a data problem, an execution problem, or a target problem? Then act.

Run the same check for each direct report's V2MOM. See the pattern across the team before the weekly team meeting.

Monthly Trend View

Ask Claude to compare this week's check against the last 3 weekly checks. Is a yellow becoming red? Is a red recovering? Trend matters more than one-week status.
